Uşak Municipality Service Building

This project proposed for the Uşak Municipality Service Building Architectural Competition presents a contemporary and strong institutional identity through a horizontally linear architectural language. A glass mass placed transparently within a wood-bearing texture makes the concepts of transparency and public accessibility spatially visible.

The wide plaza defined in front of the building and horizontal settlement strengthen citizen–administration relations by forming a public threshold. With balanced material use and simple mass organization, the project offers a contemporary administrative center proposal combining modern aesthetics and functionality for the city of Uşak.
